Meet Raphaela Rose Nichols

Raphaela Rose Nichols - Ceramics Artist and Instructor, and Youth Instructor

Raphaela Nicholls is a passionate ceramic artist and instructor at Picket Fence Art Studio. Her love for ceramics began at the tender age of eight, spending countless hours at her aunt's pottery studio. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion fueling her artistic pursuits.
A graduate of the University of Washington, Raphaela has a broad and diverse artistic background. She enjoys experimenting with various mediums, including glass fusion, printmaking, and silk painting and brings this versatility to her teaching style. Raphaela's classes are known for their fun, engaging atmosphere and her ability to inspire students of all ages to explore their creativity.
When she's not teaching or creating, Raphaela can be found enjoying the outdoors with her rough collie, Phoebe, practicing hot yoga, or traveling to new destinations. She looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for art and ceramics with you in the classroom!
