Picket Fence Art Studio is Expanding

I am so excited to share that as of March 1, 2023, Picket Fence Studio will expand to a new location in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country.

I love being a Mom and raising three kids - it is the greatest joy of my life. But I have always had a fourth kid - art. People will ask me how long I have been making art, and the answer is it has always been there.

When I turned fifty and had a little space to breathe as my kids grew into their own individual lives, I felt a strong pull toward something undefined. I was on the island of Iona in Scotland when the voice in the back of my mind finally got my attention; "You're not fully living the life you want to live." I couldn't imagine the changes that were about to come, but I knew for sure that art would be a more significant part of my life from then on.

Eight years later and I am so excited to expand on the vision that started in Scotland. I can truly say that taking the time to create for yourself is one of the most radical and liberating acts we can do as individuals and especially as women.

Starting March 1, the Studio Space will be located at 14700 148th Ave NE, in Woodinville. It is two minutes from our current location, so it should be an easy transition for students. The 1500-foot square space will give us more room to create and grow. I also hope to include a gallery space for local artists to show and sell their work and provide unique gift items.
