Adult Summer Camp
June 4 - 25th Sundays, Noon - 3:00 pm $375 Age 18+ Finally, a summer camp for adults. We'll introduce you to a variety of new artistic mediums over the course of our 4 Sunday Summer sessions. You will learn the techniques of silk painting, ceramics and glass fusion. In this class, you will learn how to create beautiful pieces of art using these three mediums. Intro to Silk Painting
June 4 - 11th Sundays, Noon - 3:00 pm $190 Age 18+ Come learn the basics of silk painting and create your own 16 x 20 silk painting. You will start by learning the basics of silk painting, including how to prepare your fabric, how to apply the dyes and how to set them. |
Acrylic Paint Night - May Contain Wine
June 23rd, 6:30 to 8:30 pm $65 Age 21+ Join us for a fun and relaxing evening of painting and sipping! In this class, you will learn how to create your own beautiful acrylic painting. You will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating your own masterpiece. You will learn how to mix colors, apply paint to the canvas, and create texture and depth in your painting. Intro to Encaustic Painting
July 28, 2023, 6:00 - 8:30 pm AND July 29, 2023, 1:00 - 3:00 pm $120 Age 18+ Encaustic is a wax-based paint (composed of beeswax, resin, and pigment), which is kept molten on a heated palette. It is applied to an absorbent surface and then reheated to fuse the paint. During the 2.5-hour course, you will be guided from start to finish to create a mixed media encaustic piece. We will start with a brief introduction to encaustics and then dive right in. You will learn:

Intro to Block Printing
August 12th, 3:30 to 6:00pm $120 Age 18+ Block printing is a relief printing technique that uses a carved rubber block to transfer ink onto paper. The block serves as a stamp, with the final product resulting in a mirror image of the carving. In this 2.5-hour course, you will learn to design, carve and make a block print. Each student will leave with a carved rubber block, a set of stationary customized with their print, and their hand-carved block print to make more prints at home. |
