Come and learn gelli print making with Amy Scherer. April 6th, 1:00 - 3:00 pm A Gelli Plate is like finger jello but much firmer and less tasty! These transparent plates are a delight to work with. Amy teaches two-hour workshop, where you work with 6x6 inch gelli plates, acrylic paint, and bond paper. We will play with textures, stencils, and various tools to create non-objective (aka abstract) and representational images, with singular or multiple passes (impressions with the plate). The idea is to experiment and make many impressions! That is how you make wonderful discoveries! All supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own paint and paper if you want to work with your own materials. Smooth paper gives the best details.
