Painting Animal Portraits with Yelena Lamm

​We had an excellent animal portrait painting workshop with Yelena Lamm. 

​elena Lamm was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and received formal art training from the N. K. Roerich Fine Arts School. Since 1995, she has lived in Pittsburgh, PA., and flew out to Seattle to share her knowledge and love of painting with us.

​It was an engaging weekend full of animals and learning. Yelena is truly a talented painter and a very giving instructor. One student described her style as if the canvas is pulling her toward it. It truly is a dance.
